If elected to the Town Council, Brian will bring his engineering and management expertise to:
Promote transparent communications within our community and frequently solicit public input, especially for commercial development projects such as at Ross Creek and Richardson Flat
Proactively work to achieve our General Plan’s objectives and encourage strategically planned development, as opposed to reacting to multiple uncoordinated developer requests
Work to set priorities to incrementally implement our infrastructure master plans with an emphasis on resilience and community safety
Establish an efficient process where advisory committees host collaborative working sessions with developers to resolve concept plan issues prior to formal submission to the Planning Commission
Work to avoid suburban sprawl and traffic congestion while preserving our vistas, open spaces, and recreational facilities
Enhance public safety by enforcing our Town building codes to dramatically reduce the number of exceptions granted to developers
Lobby for a staff position to act as our independent Inspection Authority over all new construction
Encourage developers to implement firewise measures in new construction and collaborate with our HOAs to mitigate existing wildfire risks
