Campaign button for Brian Cooper for Hideout Town Council.
  • Open Communication & Transparency – Ensure residents are kept informed and have frequent opportunities to share input, especially on major projects like Ross Creek and Richardson Flat

  • Smart, Responsible Growth – Proactively follow our General Plan and encourage development that is strategic, coordinated, and consistent with our community’s long-term goals

  • Resilient Infrastructure – Set clear priorities to implement our water, sewer, power, and internet master plans in a way that improves safety and supports future needs

  • Better Collaboration with Developers – Create a more efficient process where advisory committees work directly with developers early on, solving issues before projects reach the Planning Commission

  • Protecting Our Small Town Character – Prevent suburban sprawl and traffic congestion while preserving our open spaces, mountain views, and recreational opportunities

  • Public Safety & Accountability – Enforce building codes consistently, reduce developer exceptions, and establish an independent inspection authority to ensure safe, high-quality construction

  • Wildfire Preparedness – Require firewise practices in new developments and partner with HOAs to reduce wildfire risks in existing neighborhoods
